I tested with opk's from CD9 (when I had the ultrasound showing two nearly mature follicles) until CD12. I didn't get a positive, so since my leftover trigger dose was going to expire, I just went ahead and gave myself the shot just before noon on Friday. By my guesstimation, my follicles would have been about 25 and 22mm by then. I really believe they were because hoo-boy could I ever feel my ovaries this weekend. It was actually painful at certain times (especially bd'ing!). We didn't get as many "deposits" in as I had hoped, but I think we still covered our bases fairly well. Now it's just a wait and see. I'd love for my next call to the RE to be one saying we don't need them anymore rather than saying its CD1. For the moment, I'm hopeful.
I plan on testing out the trigger every other day, as usual. Maybe this will be our lucky break. One can always wish and dream. :)
You never know what will happen! Sorry the ovaries were giving you so much trouble. It's the worst!
